Managers are often regarded as the low point of the office. They can be fun, and they can be good leaders, but by and large they have a reputation for getting where they do by default, rather than legitimately earning their position with results. A sales manager, hopefully, is a professional who has defied this trend.
Sales managers are responsible for driving the sales force of a given company. As such, there is a tendency for them to be more focused on getting results and allowing their actions to make them distinct. It’s not a bad thing as far as managers are concerned.
